Home Care Representitive
My name is Matt Heinz and I am a Home Care Plumbing Representative for Van Der Bosch. I am originally from Iowa and have called Chicago my home since 2002. I get asked a question quite often about what I do for a living.
What exactly is a Home Care Plumbing Representative?
The answer is really simple……I take care of our customers’ plumbing problems. Along with that some fill in the blank information is needed so everyone can get a clear picture of what that actually means.
Let’s start at the beginning of how I handle a typical service call. A phone call is placed to our office and either myself or another Home Care Plumbing Representative will answer the phone. We talk over the symptoms which are happening in the home to get the basic information of the nature of service. Many times I will talk to people about their problems and give advice on what to do to take care of their problems themselves. If this is not possible then I get all of the customers' basic information such as name, address, phone number, and email. We then schedule a time for one of our fully licensed plumbers to come out, take a look at the problem, and get it fixed. I always follow up with a phone call after our service to get feedback from our customers on their service experience to make sure that they are taken care of to 100% complete satisfaction.
I am the one point of contact throughout the entirety of the service call. I personally attend to any questions and handle any needs that you as our customer may have. If you live in a high rise condo building downtown then I am the person who will make sure all of the necessary documents such as certificate of insurance and licensing are on file with either the management company or the building engineer. If it is a project which requires a permit with the township or city you live in then I make sure we get it taken care of. Since I am not a licensed plumber I work internally to make sure our company takes care of your problem efficiently the first time.
I am dedicated to you as our customer from start to finish of your service. I will not settle for anything less than the type of service I would expect in my own home. It is that small intangible difference which sets us apart from our competition that we live and breathe as a company everyday.
